Our Lower VI pupils participated in a Career’s talk given by past pupil Nick Boyle, CEO of Lightsource BP.
Nick gave an overview of the impressive scale and nature of the work his company are doing to promote solar and renewable energy in 19 countries across the world. Our pupils were engaged and asked many questions about Nick’s pathway from school to becoming the leader of a globally successful company. They were impressed by the values that Lightsource BP espouse, from the support for their staff to the charitable works they undertake, and not least by the substantial environmental benefits being achieved by the world’s largest provider of solar energy.
We hope Nick will be able to return in the future and inspire more generations to ‘be the change’ in the world.
