My Rugby journey began with a PE lesson in Year 8. The coaches from Instonains RFC had come into school to introduce the Rugby experience to a new community. I fell in love with the sport and decided to go down to the club to try it out. At first, I was unsure, but after a few training sessions I realised that this was the sport for me. I played throughout Year 9 and succeeded in making it to the Ulster U14 Bowl Final. I continued to improve and as the older players in the team moved up, I accomplished my goal of becoming team captain.
Recently I was chosen to be part of the Ulster U16 Regional Development Team. I am really delighted and so looking forward to the experience.
I will most certainly be cheering Ireland on tomorrow!
